Musicians PLAY instruments. It’s a craft. You write a phrase and practice it till it’s perfect. You play it thousands of times over with different inflections till you play it in a way that connects. THAT is music. THAT is beautiful. Music is not just notes. It’s the gap between notes that’s makes it what it is. Part of the reason music can be so awe inspiring is because it’s a flow of energy. And when you get a good musician letting the flow flow freely…that’s something to behold. That’s something worthy of recording. Not the faceless talentless tripe this shite will create.

chill out. There are different forms of music.
In some other forms of music where people are willing to impose changes to the music THEY create, they are free to develop and produce their kind of music according to their inspirations and ideas. That’s something that is as simple as diversity. it’s not F**king something up. Please, have an open mind.

I’m not talking about changing compositions and experimenting with sequencers. I’m all for this. I’m talking about turning a faceless generic talentless slug into a pop star by tweaking her voice to appear in tune. Then putting him or her on stage and myming the words with a big fat cheesy grin on their face. It’s just all about selling records these days and I believe it dumbs the world down. Nothing makes a statement about life more than authenticity. I’m sure you already know it!
