As far as my knowledge on the subject goes (and it doesn’t go that far), Google doesn’t allow it since you could write scripts to manipulate the code.

Only ‘solution’ is making a transparent part in your flash file and put the goodle add under it in regular HTML .

But as stated, I could be way off and spreading info dated back to the time the www was run with pigeons.

Same thing as far as I know. You could write scripts to trick clicks with a little knowledge. I don’t think they will allow it.

I’m just passing on what I heard like 5 years ago, so don’t take my word for it, check their terms.

I think what you’re saying still holds true.

I was looking into it a couple months ago. I was thinking that with a bit of php and/or js you should be able to generate the add and pull it’s links. I didn’t really get to far because everything I read made it pretty clear that google has zero tolerance for any modifications made to their code.

You basically allowed to copy and paste the exact code they give you onto your site and that’s it.

I have seen files on FlashDen that basically load a html page into a pop up or window within a flash site. Could you put Google’s code on a html page then load that html page into the flash site? This way your not changing the code from Google at all. Would this work?

Was it loading an HTML page or HTML formatted text?

Well, have you ever seen how the code of google is constructed? It uses javascript to output HTML links. So what did you have in mind? Loading HTML with an extra step in between?

In short, NO you can’t use those google links in Flash in any regular way and my guess is, any other unregular way will result in no pay by Google.

But let me reverse the question. Why would you want to go to all this trouble, when you can just make the part where the links should go transparent in Flash and put the links underneath in a nice div?

It’s not hard to do, it’s legal and with a little effort it can even look good. And hee, even if you want to do it with a banner ad you could do it like that.

Not that I have any knowledge on the subject whatsoever.

I’m not sure about this, but can’t you use MochiAds to add google ads into your flash website?
