Those are two completely different files. Do you want both types of file doing in AS3 or just one of them?

I imagine authors tend to write items for Flashden that they think (hope) will be popular and generate high volumes in sales, and (for now at least) AS3 is not in great demand, often only found here when either a) authors provide both AS2 and AS3 versions of their files (a conversion may be easy for the original author if they know both flavors of Actionscript) or b) when files use third party classes that are only available in A3 (eg Papervision3D)

Don’t expect to get custom files made on request for the same ultra low price they are sold on Flashden, unless it is an idea for something that may have broad appeal with the potential to generate high volume sales.

If you write A3 why don’t you buy one of those files and convert it. It would be a great exercise in understanding the differences between AS2 and AS3 and the first of those files, at least, shouldn’t be too big of a task. Alternatively you could buy the file and ask someone to convert it for you. That should be a bit less expensive than getting someone to reproduce it from scratch. I could probably convert the first of those files for you, if you provide it, in about an hour. Email me through my profile if you’re interested.

Thank theflyingtinman

my website used papervison gallery (AS3 only), I do not design the gallery, I bought it, that why I need some flash files or component will be compatible AS3 for my site. I do not think the convert like you said will work for Papervison. Again thank you for the suggestion.

I’m not sure why you think a conversion wouldn’t work. The only way ‘conversion’ differs from writing it in AS3 from scratch is that all the functionality of the AS2 file is already in place – just the lines of code have to be translated, saving time designing and structuring the application. The end result is no different than if you write it in AS3 from scratch.

How do you want it to integrate to Papervison? Do you want the functionality of that panorama file to be implemented onto a 3D surface (plane or cube face, etc) or do you want it to be a backdrop to a 3D scene? in which case it does not need to be rendered in the Papervision Viewport; it can be rendered directly to the stage, behind the Papervision Scene.
