I shot some nice videos & I want ot use them on the web, they are in .avi format (1024×786) I want to be able share them online.

What is the best software to Convert .AVI to .FLV

The flash software comes with an flash video encoder doesn’t it? That’s what i use.

Yup, it does. It’s not as good. ;)

Yeah you’re right, it does reduce the quality a little

The flash video encoder does reduce the quality thats whey we are looking for other better options.

If anyone else has any other options, please feel free to post them.

Riva Encoder

and its free

Although I can’t comment on the quality compared to Squeeze.

The best is to the video using the On2 VP6 codec, it’s by far better than Sorenson… while the file size is smaller for similar bandwidth.

the Flash encoder do a good job in encoding, you have just to tweak some options to get the best of it.
