I am not sure if this was already considered / discussed before. At present the buyers are going through the author’s profile page if they need to contact. Instead of that, if there is a way to type message from the item page itself, there are 2 benefits for the author and buyer:
1. Flashden can add a label to the email message whether that member purchased that item or not. So the painful questions can be avoided.
2. Buyers can type their message on the item page itself.
May be this option can be under the choice of auther so they can enable /disable this option. Just 2 cents.
