Hello everyone,

I’m interested in DYNAMIC XML GALLERY V3 by triworks.net located at http://www.flashden.net/item/powerful-dynamic-xml-gallery-v3/9445#

But my concern is the dimension of the gallery is around 1000×500.. I want it to load into my site which I doubt is able to fit in 1000×500 dimension. Therefore I’ll like to enquire is it possible to resize the gallery swf dimension and not affect any of it’s functionality?

Hope someone with knowledge on this item can share some lights on this issue.

Thanks and hope to hear from you soon!

Best regards, Josh

Hi Benny,

Thanks for the prompt response.

Yes I did private message Triworks via Flashden but seeing how most user’s says that it takes time for them to reply and they might not reply me at all seeing my question is not Bug related etc.

Hopefully someone who has bought the product can answer my enquiries.

I don’t really want to wait 2 or 3 days for the answer as I’m rushing on a project and if the xml gallery by triworks.net unable to fulfill my requirement I’ll need to move on quick ;)

Hi joshlim718;

The DYNAMIC XML GALLERY V3 does not resize the images. Flash will detect the image native pixel size and adapt the frame to it. So if you wish to use 1000×500 its perfectly ok.

The answer to this question was added to the product description FAQ .

Hi triworks, thank you so much for responding to my enquiry. I think there’s a minor misunderstanding. What I meant wasn’t the image but rather the “gallery’s swf”

I tried resizing my browser when viewing the dynamic xml gallery to 800×600 dimension and the gallery display isn’t working correctly.

To get to the point, I love the gallery but would like it to function on a lower specific dimension (.swf) so it can fit into my main website swf as well as displaying it correctly for viewers on 800×600 resolution

Hi joshlim718;

The dimension of the stage of the fla file does not have a big impact on this file. All the file is resizable depending on the browser stage which of course will depend on the maximum resolution allowed by your monitor.

if you want to make the stage not able to be resizable you have to remove some stage listeners. On other hand, if you decide you want the file to be adapted to the stage as it is now, try to control the numbers of thumbnails you can check by column or line.

Good work.
