want to know if there are flash apps out there alrady that can be used as web magazines.
for example, I want to scan a magazine, and be able to use a nice flash reader to view that magazine, turn pages, have embedded links, etc.
I’ve seen these before. So one can be built upon the framework of another.. But how hard is this, and how unique can you make a new one?

1. the table of contents is linked to other pages in the flash document.
2. You can type in a certain page on the bottom and just go there..
3. some pages have icons that link outside the flash document into flickr pages or whatever
this is pretty sweet. But i wanted to see what else can be added. I will be scanning in stuff.. So it will have to be converted from PDF into that flash magazine thing.
—Is it difficult to add a text search that searches names and/or text phrases in the entire ezine?
—How about a smart box type thing where i can tag certain parts of a page, like you can do with pictures in facebook?
—and can the text from within the document, pdf or flash, be extracted in order to know what info is in each magazine? Lets say I have 10 magazines.. Which of them has a picture by “danny vega”?
