I dont know how it would work but i would like to have someone create a PHP FLV player. I have so many videos and would like to add them via a database instead of an xml player. is this possible?

Sure. Just make PHP return XML to your SWF . it’s that simple

Easier if you use swfObject and php ‘echo’ the file names etc, just add via the embed and those vars become readable via the root of the swf.

I can do this for you if you like, creating XML is fine if you have lots of data to pass, but it might be overkill if its simple stuff like the video url and dimensions.
