FLV PLAYER

I was looking around on here for an FLV player that can do what Vimeo’s does.

It has this ‘HD On’ ‘HD Off’ feature. Not sure if they are using this to just load a different video that is higher quality or if they are somehow manipulating the video (my guess is the prior not the later).

at any rate for you FLV makers out there this could be something you could sell on here.

i thought so.. but it runs far smoother than sites like GameTrailers which forces you to go back a page and try again.

there are quite a few sites that could use a player like this.

Now Sony’s Crackle.com is using the same type of player. Please note that this is not loading a separate video as when the HD button is clicked it stays on the same frame.

A designer that makes this will make a killing off of new video sites buying it.

I’m almost positive it loads two different videos. Otherwise load times will remain the same. I’m pretty sure the whole point of HD off functions in video players is if the user has a lower connection speed, they can turn off HD and load an SD video, making it load faster.
