Hi guys… Small favour to ask…or maybe its a large one – I’m not too sure.

Its not to do with flash, but theres a lot of tech minded people here.

I have a process that I want to automate. Basically I have a webpage which is preloaded with a list of numbers and details – about 5 columns – all the information is taken from an excel sheet. Basically I copy something from column A, copy it into another program, get a code from that program relating to the number I just put into it, paste the code into column B of the webpage and submit it, and then the page reloads without that information I have just submitted as it has been completed.

So basically:
- Page loads with a list of numbers with 5 columns
- I take the number from column A, go to a program I have logged into securely, paste it into this program, and get a code relating to this number.
- Paste the code into the column B part opposite the number
- Press submit, the page re-loads, and the list comes up again, this time without the number I just put in and submitted as it has been done.

That probably doesnt make much sense sorry. Let me know if you don’t understand

I just want to know, would it be easy to automate this process? And if so how would I go about it? Would I use a macro by using visual basic or something?

Did you clear the browser’s cache before hitting the refresh button ? As I did understand from you it might have been a browser cache problem . Good luck .
