hi all,

i have a job that i’m doing and the client has got it into their heads that they want to try out something along the lines of this…

http://www.williamsf1.com/

the bubble swf in the middle is what they want.

personally, i think it’s hideous but i need to explore all avenues so i wanna see if there’s anyone on here who could put together something like this and roughly how much it would cost.

i’m hoping it’ll be expensive enough that i can go back and tell them it’s going to cost them much too much!

many thanks!

those balls are very ugly… almost as ugly as my avatar…

But i can see there’s some hectic actionscript behind their random moves…

try to convince your client to use something like these files:

http://flashden.net/item/expanding-nav/2406

much cleaner….

thanks blueisblue, they’re both pretty good…..

personally, i’d prefer almost anything to those bubbles…..it just looks so twee…...

i like the scrolling image component the best out of the two you posted up.

let’s see what they say eh?

cheers,

michael

You know, there are a few other ideas you could throw in there too. I’m sure you can create something that is as “interactive” as the balloon thing. For example this is pretty cool. (even if it is my file) Really it’s just an example. I didnt use any XML in that file so I will prob be a little larger file size than you would want for your project. Just figured I would show you other ideas.

If you would like to talk about building a custom component, hit me up from my profile or by clicking here
