I have Flash CS3 at work, but I would like to practice my Actionscript 3 coding skills at home, and I only have Flash 8 at home.

Is there a program, like maybe the Free Flex program, that would allow me to create AS3 code files (.as), and somehow use it with Flash 8 swf files?

Or do I have no choice but to upgrade to Flash 9?

Thanks….

If you want to learn pure Actionscript 3 .. you can find some free tools that will help you code files. But you will have to work only with classes.. A good start can be Eclipse and FDT
