VIDEO LOADER

Hi guys, I was wondering if anybody flash wise knows a way to incorporate a video into a preloader in Flash. I have a few videos that would make some nice preloaders, but I don`t know how to put them to good use

THe only way to do this properly is by using a streaming server, so you wont need to load a large video file. But that might be a bit over the top, right?

i dont think its a good idea… the concept of a preloader animation is to be lightweight and appear fast, and videos aren’t… apart from that, if you place your video on the first frame, with your preloader, it should work…

you might be right, but then again, if you’d want to do a special loader, different and quite impressive, it would be nice to use a clip. it doesn’t really work if you put your video on the first frame, it loads the content and skips the rest of the video.
