Ok, thanks for any help I can get. I would love to create some flash sites and templates to use but I have no idea where to start. I notice that alot of people use xml, flash and actionscript. Im ok with html and css, but this xml and AS 3 .0 stuff is pretty new. If anyone could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. Any websites or tutorials would be amazing. I started by working through the tutorials on Kirupa

Then made my way through a lot of tutorials on Tutorialized

Make sure you also read the Help files on flash as it unlocks much easier ways of doing things.

I would also check out Lynda.com .There are loads of indepth and well produced video tutorials covering basically everything under the sun but more importantly for you the basics of AS3 and XML and such. The service isn’t free, but you get your moneys worth IMO .

Also i would recommend books. Sometimes you just can’t beat a good ol’ fashion book to study through.

Another also, keep an eye on ThemeForest which will be a marketplace for website templates so if you are keen on the HTML and CSS side of things it might be worth becoming an author for that.
