Sold between 1 and 100 dollars Bought between 10 and 49 items

on the best way to convert a flash site to more than one language and make google friendly (the site utilises xml for its content delivery).

should the site be duplicated and everything renamed to the diff lang and placed in a corrresponding folder, then have a links from the index page to them all

suggestions welcome and appreciated.

What about having different scenes?

Have one main scene where you choose the language, and then scenes for each language…?

Like is that something you want to do?

I’ve done some multiple languages sites…. And i used only one XML file, only one main SWF file… Nothing should be duplicated.

thanks for the comments peeps,

@lifwanian yes i think it would be best to control everything from inside the main swf and have scenes do the work, then the graphics would only load once. i had thought of this but wasnt sure if the best way to go.

@kudoshinichi i would like to do it without duplicating anything, but the site is already built and uses seperate xml files for different things. but if i was starting from scratch on a site i think it would be.

it seems like the folder idea is not top of the list so far…
