I purchased this menu. I was looking for something subtle that would fit into my sailing website design.

I to: 1. Go into the Flash library and change menu colors 2. Update the XML file.

Thats it! It works and looks great.

I ran into a problem. There is space above the movie clip. I can’t move the menu to the top of the stage. I am not a developer, but a suggestion I found was to start with a new document, and create a new, empty movieClip and and create ALL your work, graphics, objects, code, inside of that so it could be moved up.

Would it be possible to get a copy with all the frames at the top of the stage? Is this a common problem?

pls do following:

1. Copy “menu assets” folder on library of menu.fla

2. paste into your new blank movie library

3. Drag the symbol named “horz menu” into the stage at any position you want.

Terrific Menu Boontaran!

I am having some difficulty assigning code to the buttons. I’d like to set some of the main buttons to jump to specific frames or load swf files.

1. Are drop up menus possible, ie sub-menus that appear above the main menu so a nav bar at the bottom is possible?

2. Can we modify the speed of the sub-menu transitions? Tweener?

3. Can we change the colors used?

Hi mfuller52654,

You need flash CS3 to open and modify it,

1 and 2, it used tween created from flash authoring. Direction easily can be changed just with dragging object on tweened frame. Speed can be modified by add / reduce number of frame.

For no 3, also can be done with change the color of shape.
