This 3D demo is designed for Flash users wanting to add an animated movieclip in the environment of Paper Vision 3D. To make it more interesting, the file contains an actionscript code for loading an XML file and an MP3 file. Then the XML data are used to synchronize the 3D scene with the MP3 soundtrack.
UNTIL THE NEXT UPDATE : You need to download and unzip the following file to the folder “Sources” : Sources/com/blitzagency/xray

Current preview of this 3d demo has the following configuration:

Version 1.0 / 3D Demo PaperVision / Jean-Mi.com / Necessary files of PaperVision3D are included in a folder / SWFObject is also included for displaying the player on an HTML page.
Great file, except it doesn’t work as you haven’t included all the actionscript. It errors out and requires some blitzagency code which isn’t part of the download. Can you supply this?

Yeah…mine doesn’t work either.
Could be my fault since this is fairly complex to update and I am definitely not a Papervision expert!
For design I give at high marks…for usability I must rate it low.

Hello modnarus.
Sorry for how complex it is. As you I have so many problems for understanding Papervision, and I would like to say I am not a Papervision expert any more…
I don’t want you purchased for nothing. So let me send you the good updated files and help you if you want by sending me an email.

Hi there
just bought this – seems ok. Certainly a nice gentle step in to papervision.
Tip: Dont forget to publish the swf in to the top directory to get it running (where the current one is) as the default will publish it into the “source” folder and not work. As for the rest of the actionscript issues just download the above files and plop in the right directory to get it working.
Im very new to papervision and external .as classes and got this going in about 3 minutes. There is a help file in there thats not too bad.
Only one question – how is the timing controlled?
