Not sure but seems that the auto feature continues even when turned off.

Otherwise – clean and simple – great price for this.

Checked it again – The app initializes with auto show on. Turn off and it sets correctly to off and stays off. Now click to manually advance a pic and internally it resets to auto without changing the auto/manual icon. Click the icon to auto then manual again and it turns off auto.

Minor glitch.

The provided manual is a very good idea.

The AS is moderately commented and shouldn’t be a problem for someone familiar with AS.

Really handy the way you’ve organized the complete project. Neat, tidy and easy to get to the various components.

This is a quality 5 star program. Ya done good RimV.

None of my business but $12 is a bargain for this. Snagged!!!

The one propblem, I can’t get rid of background image and copyriht message … It is paid version …

@feha: just simply delete the background layer to get rid of it.

The copyright message doesn’t appear when you compile the movie.

Think the problem is with the AS ‘package’ pathing. The source files for the transition/masking physics are not pathed properly but are nesting within the folder array. Need to either set pathing in the XML or include a base set of all necessary files in the component root.

The package tries to import cautrina.tranistions.* and this tweener package is not provided with the core files. You can get a free download here:

http://code.google.com/p/tweener/

add the whole cautrina folder up under the SOURCE folder and you’re good to go.

This worked for me and it compiles very gracefully with all changes to parameters.

*Is it possible to load in photos with different sizes? *Is it possible to change the speed / duration time?
  • I have a as2 project. Can I still implement this one?

@arrebarre: regarding your questions:

1. All the photo should be same size 2. Speed and duration are customizable via XML 3. This file works with AS3 project only

Hi – GREAT work :)

Some questions:

1) Image Size: I edited the .as file to say: private var SWIDTH :Number = 800; private var SHEIGHT :Number = 600; I edited my images to be 800×600 I cleared my cache completely But the slideshow is still landscape, and displaying 700×400 What might I be doing wrong?

2) Can I remove the background image where it says “3-D Mosaic flipping Slideshow”? Where is this image.

1) you need to resize document size as well

2) sure you can do so, just edit the background layer

I got some serious performance issues with this particular script. It kills(slow down or simply stop) my other flash scripts running on the same page, specially during transitions. my other flash banners only take 4kb and 20k. Please advise how to optimize(fix) this file? Tested with flash 9 and flash 10 players.

Performance is based on image size and number of fragment, you shouldn’t use a large image + decrease the number of fragment.

Basically if your image dimension and number of fragent are similar to original setup then there won’t be major problem
