3D XML MENU STUDIO 2

It seems we all are very impressed with this script. The two things I would like to know is pretty much what everyone is asking.

1. Can we make it stop spinning (which would probably be answered by no. 2)

2. It would be great to have next/prev or <,> buttons to navigate, instead of the mouse.

I’d buy it in a second if it has those features!

First off, I think this file is great. That being said, I’m having some problems. Iedited the xml file and placed my photos in the same folder. It works great locally, but when I upload the folder and browse the page where the swf should be playing, there is only white. Any ideas?

I have asked this question before, but here we go again.

Does anyone know how to link the images (onRelease) to frames in another scenes within the same browser window in the main .swf file, rather that external URLs?

I was reading siopsdoobie’s comment at the bottom of page 5 regarding PNG transparency.

On the first frameactions of the”img_mc” movieclip look for this line:

var pixelData = new flash.display.BitmapData(from._width, from._height);

replace it with this:

var pixelData = new flash.display.BitmapData(from._width, from._height, true, 0×00FFFFFF)

When I publish, I am getting this error message Error Symbol=img_mc, layer=Actions, frame=1:Line 3: ‘’ or ’,’ expected var pixelData = new flash.display.BitmapData(from._width, from._height, true, 0×00FFFFFF)

Error Symbol=img_mc, layer=Actions, frame=1:Line 6: Unexpected ‘}’ encountered }

Total ActionScript Errors: 2 Reported Errors: 2

Nevermind, disredgard previous 2 posts.

I was able to figure out which line in the smoothing function to delete:

duplicateImage(holder, holder);

I ditched that and it kept the reflections and button functionality. The animation isn’t as smooth, but I guess you can’t have everything!

DIGITALSCIENCE I NEED HELP ….

If you look here www.emoceanstudios.com.au/3Mflags when you click on the TAB ICON you’ll see i’ve loaded a movie into level2 using

on (release) { loadMovie(link, “_level2” }

but you’ll notice the new page keeps looping even though I have stop(); at the end of the movie. Also it’s still interacting with the carousel even though i’ve loaded another movie on a level above it.

Do you know why this is happening?

Or is there a better way to go about setting this up.

Other then this problem I love the carousel it’s awesome!

I have been able to fully customize this file BUT it has a major flaw. If I view the SWF file embed within a HTML page, then move away from the browser (to the desktop or a separate browser window) and return to the page, all of the menu items group together as “one object”.

The only way to rectify this issue is to refresh the browser.

This appears to be a similar issue relating to the erratically spinning menu others have experienced. I have noticed that you are no longer responding to comments on some files so I will email you directly … others should do the same.

This issue occurs in the original source files too!

This in turn makes the file useless.

Can you please advise if there is a solution else I will be contacting FlashDen to request a $20 refund as this does not work as intended.
