This is an accordion-like, horizontal and dynamic navigation menu. All site content is loaded in dynamically—you can have jpeg’s or swf’s load in, by changing the accordion.xml file. Colors and look and feel are very easy to customize. You can also have as many sections/tabs as you want, by simply adding lines to the xml file.

This is just what I needed but when uploaded can I click on the image pictures on the accordion and this will take me to another page within my website? please can you tell me the code and do I need to add it into the xml file? Sorry to mither, Thanks very much.

Im not sure if this is was explained in this comment board, but is this flash file running from external Actionscript files? Or is the actionscript files are located in the flash file?

all external .swf’s i.e. you load them, they are all specified within an xml file.

Hi, This is a great file, thank you for putting it out there!
My question is this, how can I stop and start play of the external swf(s)? I have placed the correct AS in the external files and have seen the file work correctly when not loaded into the “box” swf you have provided for the accordion.
I have incorporated the suggestion you had for making the accordion panels open on click versus mouseout, so I am wondering if there is a way to make the initial swf play as well as have the other external swf’s load/stop/play on click of the tab of the section they occupy.

I’m having a problem with the movie auto playing my buttons. http://www2.bowiestate.edu/vt/ When I test my swf in flash it works perfectly but when loaded into the accordion it auto plays the campus map button. You can see it fading in and out. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Also my videos will not play in the accordion, I keep getting a blinking flv icon. http://www2.bowiestate.edu/vt/ you can view it there. Could my errors be because my swf’s are scripted in as3?

I haven’t modified anything in the file and I get a grayline at the top and the bottom of the loaded swfs and it squishes them to be about 850×300 instead of 850×500. Is the file corrupt or something?

I would like to have a simple white mc over the menutabs so that i can fade in the menu when all of them is loaded, what is the best way of doing this? Or just fade in the menutabs when they all is loaded.

I m thinking of purchasing this component and have a few questions: 1. Can the menu stack vertically instead of horizontally? Look like it can easily be modified isn’t it? 2. Do you have a collapsible/expandable menu where users could expand more than one item? thx

Except where explicitly stated this file is entirely the work of gdpgiga. The author has indicated that any images / sounds / video / flash used which are not the author's work have been appropriately licensed for resale.
Think this file has infringed someone else's copyright?
