=== A Basic Slide show using Actionscript 2.0 ===

Uses an XML file to load in the parameters of the slide show.

The width and height can be modified but must be done so in the Flash file. Dimensions were used to illustrate the use of this slide show as a header in a web page.

Captions can be set in the XML to display for each slide of the slide show. The user has the ability to pause, play and manually switch between images.

@TheSandman: The object located on the “timepiece” layer controls the transition speed. Setting the _root.timer = to something lower than 100 / 200 will make the transitions occur more quickly and vice versa.

@moonsand: Thank you for that. I’d never thought to use onLoadInit.

Downloaded – when I attempted to open fla in MX 2004 get the following error: “Unexpected file format”

Please help – I’m using MX 2004 version 7.2. Notes above indicate that this file is compatible with this version?
