ADVANCED XML CONTENT WINDOW

XML driven portfolio content window which can be dragged ‘n dropped into your website. With the XML file you can add as many pages as you wish, change the copy, page titles, URL links and the file names of the images which are loaded in as external jpegs. Scroll bars will auto-adjust to the amount of text you add to the XML file.

Other Features: Smooth preloaders for loading XML and images. Mouse wheel support included for the scroll bars. Close button to shut down the window. Relaunch button to re-open the window. Image transition using non-script based mask, easily customizable with your own effect.

Any chance you could add an option to have a list on the side that allows the user to choose which project to go to? (each ‘button name’ would be in the xml file) I’d buy it if it had something like that built onto it.

I am working on something a little like this at the moment myself. The only difference is my content is coming from a database, Just wondered if I could make your Flash work with my PHP5 scripts as apposed to XML ?

hmmm… well not sure about integrating flash with PHP . Can’t you script something that would write to a xml file which this flash file would read from?

It can be done quite easily, you just have to move some of the elements around and adjust the sizes.

Hi Very good sample. I have one question when I’m putting the characters Ã© Ã or Ã¨ into the xml file into the tag example Ã©Ã© Ã Ã Ã¨Ã¨ and I launch the swf file nothing appears into the windows. Do you know what. I’m trying a lot of thing (change encoding, etc..) but nothing. Can you help me ?

agencevirtuelle, you need to select each text field, view it’s properties and click on the “embed’ option. Then in the field which says “Include these characters” type in Ã© Ã and press ok. Now those characters will show up when you publish the swf.

Hi, thinking about buying this. For what i understand it’s possible to change the format/zise of everything, correct? I would like to know if there is any way the image can resize itself from a jpg file, and is it possible to make the image linkable, so it can open the same link has “launch project”.

is it possible to combine this with your scrollable xml menu? for example, item 1 on the scrollable xml menu link would link to the the first item in this portfolio.

I want to make it’s possible before I purchase it. I need this for a current project.

hi! the charakters Ã¼Ã¶Ã¤ÃœÃ–Ã„ÃœÃŸ?& are not displayed but i embedded all in each text field. if your file is in the first level of my flash film -> it works! but i have to put this in another mc like _root.animation1.animation2.YOURFILE …. an then these charakters failed….

please help!
