FOR TEST , please Enter your E-mail address and send an E-mail with file attachment to yourself.

files can now be attached to the E-mail from your E-mail form. file type can be specified in action script. you can filter unwanted file types. warning text for each mandatory text field will be shown in rec color and the field is focused automatically if field is left empty and send button is pressed. E-mail address validation. progress bar for file upload progress. E-mail is sent automatically right after file is uploaded. Only 4 kb published size.

hi nemo i tested your file from here, and entered my email and it worked perfectly, i got the pdf attached and all.

but when i downloaded it and tested it into my server, everything is in the same directory as downloaded, so i didnt change the path for the php files..

the file starts uploading and then it gets to 99.8 and then stops loading and no email gets sent… can u help!? my file is here, if u need to check.. http://xtranuki.manuki.net/test/alfalfa/

manuki, your server settings seem to have limited file size permition for file upload.. please contact the admin of your host and ask them to increase the file size for the file uploading.. and dont forget to specify the receiver E-mail address in the php file… good luck

hi nemo thanks for your reply

dreamhost (my host) has a max upload file of 7Mgs default. The pdf i was trying t upload was 440K, then i tried a jpg that was only 300K, and a gif that was 4K… but nothing, it still stays in 99.8 and then nothing happens… (safari mac) in then i tried another jpg 104k in firefox mac, it goes up to 99.1 and then stops and nothing is sent.

what can i do. i havent changed anything in your files, only the $to: email to my email…

manuki Im sure this has to do with your server.. check what php version it supports.. you got the same file as this one here on flashden, so the file works..

Hello just bought the file, I am having some trouble with setting permissions on my host, it’s asking me for a 4 digit number, I can’t use 3 (777 in your helpme). How can I fix this, otherwise I keep getting a error #403 after I upload a file!

auracom1, you should ask your hosting admin about that.. and the #403 error you get, depends on your server too.. thats a “http error”. that doesnt have to do with my file.. cheers

Dear Nemo.

You look like you help people figure it out. Luckily it is only a few percent with unknowns to figure out but that few percent made the difference for a lot of us to buy from you I would imagine. Appreciate that.

I been testing various swf mail form movies called from external or embedded into my existing swf site… either way I have been unable to get my swf mail forms to send anymore since about a year ago. For no apparent reason either.

Andytom and kompomop: I was able to relate to their own plight.

Before I decided to write to you about this I tested my swf site on two separate and both highly esteemed host servers. I reference directly to the .pl file in the browsers address bar and get a readout that the .pl file is working and they even work as .cgi and .php using the referencing method above for each…. and still I am sad.

If you are very busy I am also very capable of appreciating that.

If you think it won’t waste your time let me know, I’ll buy and try your work of art and chok it off at the server if it won’t work. I did read all the posts herein before writing.
