Hi all, sorry my late reply.
@fogger, Yes the logo image just needs to be replaced in the images folder and it will load into the player. I tried to make this player as easy as possible to update without having to touch the code. so all image and asset are externally loaded in at runtime.
I am available for work depending on schedules, Christmas etc, shoot me an email.
@ flash_z, Yes, but it needs a little modification but very doable. I also have a minimal youtube wrapper with manual / auto playlist here.

Hi Ebee, sorry if my question sound stupid, I don’t know anything about Flash… I want to be sure before buying : if I understand weel, all I have to do is paste the embed code given by Youtube in the xml file and it will play ? does it work too with Google video or Dailymotion ?

The purchase button doesn’t seem to show ? Anyway … first question..I bought, opened it with winzip and it doesn’t play on my desk when I click the index.html file ..imported it in Dreamweaver CS3 , tried again with Iex and Firefox, all I have is a black background… checked the permissions, everything is ok, checked that I still have flash 9 plugin, it is still in the folder for the links path, so…help ?

You need to run this on a webserver or if you are using windows, download and install wamp and put the project in the root directory, access it via your browser using url localhost/fooTube_v3 or whatever folder you created and copied it to.
The reason you cant just run this file on the desktop is it needs to access serverside scripts to work.
Once you have it in wamp or on the server you can just change the files you like upload if on live server and test the changes in the browser, please remember to clear your browser cache so new changes show up.

One more question before I purchase.. (sorry)
If I wanted to strip out all the sub catergories and just have one main catergory is that easy to do (remove all the thumbnails along the bottom)?
Also is the player totaly customizable? I mean can I remove fooTube on played items? Is the navigation/interface changable?

This is really good for giving a website a channel using youtube.
Pity there is no way to make something like this update whenever someone added a video to their user account on youtube.
