Description:

This is a full screen flash file. Resize the window to see the effect

All content within the “content_mc” movieclip is always centered on the stage

When resized the content slides to center with a nice ease

Also included:

a background image/movieclip is adjusted to fit the whole screen/stage and adjusts accordingly.

This works best with colored or gradient movieclips, not images as it will scale the image

IMPORTANT

This file uses mcTween & swfObject which is INCLUDED in the download.

In order for this to work you must use the index.html file i have included with it. It contains the proper CSS code and swfObject code to embed the flash and correctly display full screen flash.

All code is commented.

Clearly explains every line of code so follow what it says in there.

THIS FILE USES mcTween 2

mcTween is included just double click and install “mc_tween_2_28_29.mxp”

This is Actionscript 2.0 as it says: Opens With Flash 8 (8+)

it will work in Flash version CS3 but it is Not Actionscript 3.0

I don’t work with Actionscript 3.0 so I do not know if you would be able to use this with an AS3 project.

I see in the actionscript is says “Stage.align = “TL”;”, which is supposed to have the movie clip drop down from the top left hand portion of the window. How can I have it drop down from the top center? because just “T” isn’t working.

Yeah its easy to do if you know how to do it. The content is a movieclip and I used MCTween to create the tweening functions… you can just replace them with the code you use to create tweens with the tween class flash already has

Hi,

I bought the file and tried it. It works but I have some problems. My buttons show up nicely. However the movie clip I added is behind the content_mc clip instead of on top of it. Also, when I draw using the flash drawing tools, the box I draw is behind the content_mc clip.

I use the get next highest depth function if that makes a difference. And, I replaced all the _root. with this.. Everything I did is in AS2 .

Is there an obvious mistake I am making?

P.S. The whiteboard (the application) works fine when I don’t use the content_mc.

First of all nice file.

Question:

1) Is it possible to load an external swf into content_mc…..............That is not align top left?

2) I´ve made in this mc an empty Movieclip an adjust it by x and y position….............Maybe there is an easier Way to do that…...........?\?!

Hi all,

Is there anyway to change the title and add some keywords in “index.html” without it defaulting to the install Flash page when re-saved?

At the moment when I change the title in the the tags, re-save and run my amended index.html file it shows the flash install link page rather than going striaght to the movie.

Any help/solution greatly appriecated :-)

I tried to paste my stuff into the CONTENT and the scale is wrong or something. Also, my animation comes from outside the box will it still work?

Warning basic knowledge question: I have a SWF file that I am using and want to load a second swf file on top of what I already have. I have managed to do it by adding a link to the swf BUT the content always loads on the left, will not resize and will not center. Will this file help me get that result? I am not interested in the background. I am simply interested in using this to make a swf that I have now center and resize i possible.
