great file, this cold be really useful
autoFill for flash
A apllication that you can attach to a input textField it will give the user suggestions to fill the field.
Some features
-Attach it to any input field with only 1 line of code
-Show the number of results
-On click add it in the field
-Load words from a own XML file
-You can change everything in the xml file (fonts colors sizes)
-Included a list of countrys and days of the week
-Everything explained in the help file
-Use the down or right arrow to go down the list and use the enter key to sellect

Impressive! You should have the arrow keys highlight through the results.

Hello,
It’s working beautifully as a standalone. Unfortunately, when I incorporate it in my form I got some dysfonctions.
Namely the list is not reducing itself to the number of selected items, neither will it fully “collapse” (disappear) once an item has been selected.
Any idea on what’s going (or am I doing) wrong ?

Apparently it will cannot work together with FL8 “UI components” (button, tyextInput etc…
even if these are just staying in the library…. strange !
Is there a way to solve this ?

Beautifull idea and apparently well tought.
Just a tiny little suggestion.
When selecting a country (f.i.: BELgium). once I type ‘B’ ‘E’ ‘L’ I am left with just one possibility. It would be nice if I could confirm my (only) selection by pressing only the key. Actually the procedure is : Which could be irritating for the users. Why couldn’t we have the first item on the list already selected .
Keep on the good work
