Black streams in a surreal animation accompanied by a Caching Data Stream text. A nice blend of wavy tendrils in the background. LOOPED .

Easy to use. Simply copy the first frame of BOTH layers into your project and you’re away. Details on Readme.txt. I’ve compiled the animation into ONE MOVIE object so you can move it around, scale or rotate. Opens in FLASH 8 and uses Actionscript 2.0.

Hello Skarky,

First off this preloader looks really nice. I wanted to ask a couple of questions before I purchase it.

I wanted to know if the text that is there could be dynamically created and altered from an external source and still be animated the way it is now?

Is it completely scalable to any size?

If I wanted to keep it looping and then just have another function added to remove the preloader, more like faking the preloading and just use it as a startup as things loaded in the backround would that be as easy as just setting the MovieClips and TextFields to _visible?

Hi, sorry for late reply. Use my email address next time :)

You can change the text. You need to open up the preloader movie clip where you should be (from memory) be able to see the Text layer there. The text is broken down into a spline shape so that other people can get the text even if they don’t have it installed.

The text is called Trajan, the awesome movie font :)

The entire preloader is scalable to any size.

and finally yes you can just switch it off using the movieclipname._visible = false and boom, it will disappear. Just make sure you name the preloader accordingly.
