A simple & easy to use circular preloader for Flash 8 (AS2) .
To use it just copy the “preloader” movieclip to the first frame in your stage. When the loading is complete it jumps to frame 2, but it can do custom actions if you want.
You can use it not only as a preloader for the entire stage, but you can use to preload images, swf file or even videos.

I am new to Flash and I am certain that this is something simple and a problem on my end. I created a single frame 1 and placed the loader – before the rest of the movie. Yet I can’t get it to work when posted on the web. I am using Flash 9 but set the action script settings to 2. What can I do?

I cannot get this file to work in actionscript 3.0 / flash 9 settings… It works in 8 but i need it in AS3 . Is this possible?

Except where explicitly stated this file is entirely the work of flasher3015. The author has indicated that any images / sounds / video / flash used which are not the author's work have been appropriately licensed for resale.
Think this file has infringed someone else's copyright?
