Hi The preloader never starts from 0% do you know why

- Drag & drop in the first frame. Content in the second frame - Full actionscript- FLASH 8 & FLASH 9 CS3 versions included(as2.0 & as3.0)
What you can easely customize - radius (distange from center of the circle to margin) - circle border width - ability to chase mouse (enable/disable) - initial starting preloader angle - distance from mouse(in case of mouse chase enabled) - how to change the color? change the tint value from clip color properties. simple!
– Delete the “percent” lair and pass the percentage you wish to display by calling the preloader mc like… preloader.rotate(percent_number);
easy!

A preloader for a current stage will not begin from 0% on files that have stuff like classes, clips, sounds and other things that are set in library to load for actionscript…
A solution for this this behavior is to change the settings in the publish settings to load classes and other stuff from frame 2 or the next frame from where your preloader is…
or… to load the entire site into another flash file…
best preloader I’ve ever used. simple, lightweight and works perfectly without having to read many instructions (three lines!).
Nice work. Will look forward to your other flash dev’s.

I can’t get it to work in my own, already existing, flash file. I copied the “circle preloader” folder from the library. Pasted this folder into the library for my own flash file. Dragged the “circle preloader” folder onto my stage in frame 1. Added an action in frame 1 and frame 2 of ‘stop’. I’ve moved my content to frame 2. All I see is the blue ‘drag me’ circle when I preview. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Just like kerusdotorg I have the same error. I have imported some heavy images in the second frame. I do see the preloader, but it will not show the preloader animation. I have used the flash 8 AS 2 version.
