Client Area v1 is a great way to easily and professionally show your designs to clients for approval and/or discussion.

Features:
- Infinite client logins can be created
- Multiple projects per client
- You can assign a different project contact for each project
- Each client has their own xml file that is loaded after login screen
- Customize the colors of the interface
- Add your own logo or if you don’t have a logo a text field will display your company name
- Optional thumbnails for each image. If you do not enter in a thumbnail image numbers will represent each thumbnail
- Comments for each image of a project

NOTE : This is not meant as a 100% secure option, but it does allow for basic security to prevent average users from viewing projects you have online.

Is it possible to have basic HTML text in place of the large image? Maybe to communicate a timeline or notes in a larger fashion than the comments block.

Can the client post comments then submit them to the contact person. and would your system be able to track the change request? or can i talk to you about what my idea is.

Is there any plans to make a admin panel to create accounts and image upload for different clients instead of manually creating the xml file?

TO BYPASS LOGIN : I’ve seen a number of request to bypass the Login and just go straight to the navigation. I know Ryan is very busy so here is a quick AS fix. Its not ideal but it works:

1. add the following actionscript:

Inside the FLA file > Layer “as” > Somewhere after Line 496 add the following function. (replace the xml file name with whatever your data file is called)

function LoginBypass(){ getData(“Clients1.xml”;); }

2. In the first layer and first frame of the “login window” movie clip, add the following actionscript:

keep: //load logo? stop();

add: //build content _parent._parent.LoginBypass();

I would like to purchase this item, but before I do I would like to know if it will work with “elite XML Website” by triworks. Will this work as a plugin and integrate into that interface?

I just purchased this item. I have called it in triworks elite xml site. I have one major problem. Once logged in, the upper left drop down menu only displays a solid black dropdown bar…if you click within the black area, the links work as they should, but you can not read what the links are…the are is solid black. I went into the .fla and tried chaning some of the component colors, and managed to figure out every piece except that one (figures). Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. If I can’t get this fixed, then I’m afraid this will be worthless to me as no client would be able to know what they were selecting from the drop down menu.
