COLOR PICKER AND BACKGROUND & MOVIECLIP COLOR TWEENER

HomeBrowse CategoriesFlashAnimationsTransitionsColor picker and background & movieclip color tweener

Color picker and background & movieclip color tweener. This is a nice little application for tweening colors. Tween your background or any other movieclip color in your file! Here I used an image of color wheel to sample the color but you can use any image you like!

So. you dont just change the color of the movieclip, you tween it! It’s like this: You have the old red and new red color, and you tween your movieclip’s color to the new red ,going through all the colors in between! We don’t actually change the color of the background , we use a movie clip which is the same size as the background. Colors are tweened with easing , a very nice effect. Every ActionScript function is very well commented. Enjoy!

Check out my other file , very similar to this.

It tweens GRADIENT COLORS ! “Gradient color picker and background tweener”:

Got it. That rocks. Thanks so much for a great color picker. That really makes the project look great! G

ive created an application which feeds the colour selected to a selection of mcs made up of two parts each with separate colour wheels. To do this ive duped all up the code for the colour wheel and put two instances of it on the stage.

This works fine on the first selected mc but then when the user clicks on another mc (which i want to retain the colour information), it doesnt work, even though the mcs are all named the same, so the same information is being passed though.
