how would you import this into a dreamweaver site? do you have to include the swf and the php in the root folder? And where do you edit the php for e-mail? in flash? sorry, i am so lost!

- digitalhecht – Remove lines 30-35 and change line 50 to

if(error1==0&&error2==0&&error3==0){

-jayjman1234 – You should just be able to apply the SWF directly in Dreamweaver using it’s design view toolbar. Using SWFObject is also a very good option. You will need to edit mail.php to configure where you want these emails to go and what your Subject line needs to be.

Forgive my ignorance here, but this line you suggested placing in line 50: if(error1==0&&error2==0&&error3==0){ is exactly the same one that’s currently there? Is this correct?

Hi – Can you also have it so when you receive the email, the person sending it to you email address is in the msg you get as the ‘from’ address?

Hi abenson,

nice form, I have found it works well when I put it online by iteself. One thing that I would like your help with please….I can’t make it work when it’s nested inside another movieclip.

Will your file work inside another movieclip? What do I need to change to make it work?

Here are the problems I have with it at the moment: 1. form does not work when nested within one or more movie clips or swfs. 2. input text fields become un-clickable (cannot click on them or enter any text) 3. Send button is not responding at all. 4. So that means email is not sent, and “user” does not see the confirmation screen either.

What is wrong? It works fine when I publish it just by itself (not nested in any other movie clip), but obviously I want to incorporate the form into a complete website, which means nesting.

There must be a simple something I am missing….
