Contact Form – RSS 2 .0 is a full flash programming with the feature RSS that is written in XML
The main features of this file are:
- Add / Edit the title of the form fields (in case your language isn´t english) via rss
- Resizable Stage
- Interactive navigation between form fields;
- Access to fullscreen mode (right click);
- Add / Edit / Delete a small description text for your form via rss

Thank you for the great file.
Question: How do I change the color of the input text itself (when the black slides up and you are able to start typing) – I have implemented this on a dark background so it creates a problem because I cant see what is being input into the fields. (I checked the file pretty thoroughly and couldn’t seem to find anything to change in regard to that.)

Hi…
I bought this great file of yours some days ago and I just wanted to ask you some questions.
First of all i want to know if there is an easy way to remove all the RSS features from the file and keep the rest of it as a common form with static texts and simple input fields….
What i want to say is that i want to keep the color transitions of the fields when you select / deselect a field but the rest of it to be a simple form.
I tried to do that but i failed completely.
I was just wondering if you can do this changes.

Hi… cool file… but I’m pretty stuck! I’ve changed all the relevant parts that I can see, I’ve inserted the form.swf into a website page, it show’s fine when you preview in browser, but when published the file doesn’t show and reads ‘Undefined’. Any ideas?

Hi, I’ve managed to get the form to show up on the live website but when filled out the form doesn’t email to the address I provided in the code. I also followed carefully your instructions to someone else’s problem which you replied to 5 months ago… still doesn’t work.
What permissions do I need to have activated on my hosting? The PHP support is active.
Could do with sorting ASAP .

hello all if anyone use this file who has receive an email from this apps? not me for the moment and it make’s me sad normaly it’s very easy to use we change the email adresse in the php and some info in the swf but that not working for me if anyone have no pb with this file is it possible to post a very simple “how to use” thank’s a lot

so this is the solution : at line 6 in the FormFonction you must put var pathsite:String = “http://yourdomainname.fr/” and not var pathsite:String = “http://yourdomainname/form/”
in the php yourmail@yourmail and it’s done and for information when the mail is send all the field is empty

Black and White,
I left a comment a while back and wanted to see if you had any answers on what to do about the black input text (and swapping it to white) for the input sections on the form. I had manipulated the file to fit a dark background but right now when an input box is selected and I start to type – the text color (black) matches the background color (also black)... so how do I change that input text color?
Don’t know if you gave up on helping for this file or not.

anderlpz,
Just do a search on the hex value of the colours that is being used currently. They are 000000 and FFFFFF . Once found just change then to a hex value of your choice.
There should be 3 values in all.
To search, make sure you’re on the root of the file, then press ctrl + f.
Search the whole document, click on the found text and it will take you to it.

Black and White,
I need a little help! I know the file is supported in flash player 9, but there’s one thing that doesn’t work if published in 9. If you have finished filling out all the fields and press the send button, the currently selected field doesn’t close. Of course it will close in flash player 8, but not 9!

This file sucks and has absolutely NO HELP from the author.
Looks good, but I’ve tried repeatedly to get it to send to my email with no luck. I’ve tried everything possible and still doesn’t work.
File is a big headache.

This is a poorly coded and finicky file. I find it unacceptable that the author responds to no emails/messages. Even a “sorry I cant help” would be better than just saying nothing at all.
If you need to do more with this than post the file as is with no changes whatsoever, I suggest you not purchase this file. Be warned that the documentation is poor so even if thats all you need to do, have basic knowledge of actionscript/php handy or you will not succeed.
rookdanger is right, the file is a big headache.

Except where explicitly stated this file is entirely the work of blackandwhite. The author has indicated that any images / sounds / video / flash used which are not the author's work have been appropriately licensed for resale.
Think this file has infringed someone else's copyright?
