Outstanding work!

However I am in need of some assistance. I am in the process of adding another button and hence extra content, however I cant figure out how the buttons call the movieclips… I can see in content_mc that at various points on the timeline different content is applied to the ‘content clips’ layer. But I simply can not understand how the buttons calls the movieclips? Can you please explain how it works?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi, I’m trying to get an FLV file to play instead of one of the studio shots in the ‘About’ section, in the xml file ( office/content.xml) I have changed office/image1.jpg to office/flvPlayer.swf

and have all the relevant files in the same folder.

When I view the page I can see the FLV player buffering but nothing plays.

Apologies if I’m rambling it’s 2.17 am and I’m pulling my hair out here, can someone shed any light?

Hi, no worries, I’ve worked it out now, simple xml path error, it’s a lot easier if you sleep on it!

One other question though, can I control the default volume of the mp3 player?

I need it to be 50% volume by default.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi !

I have try for hours to do what you say about copying a movie like portfolio_mc and replace the line 16 of frame 1 in action by gotoAndStop(2); and nothing is working.

I also have these errors in the ouput window:

Error opening URL ”/portfolio/content.xml” where can i change the URL ?

I am missing something or the gotoAndStop need something else ?

@honey – to change the color of preloader bar (circle) from blue to whatever…open library, go to “Asset Elements” -> “Movie Clips” -> and then find Symbol 71 and double click on it.

Next you simply click on the blue object (half circle) and choose a different color from the color pallet.

@MAX—thanx, but I need to know how to change the color of the loading.data preloader blue to something else even on the contact form page the “subject” and message” they both are blue!

yeah,

within “content_mc” you will find “banner_mc”... in there you will find “Symbol 481”... go to Frame 10, Layer 5 and select the Instance of “Symbol 461 2” and change its tint color to the color of your choice.

and I feel your pain… I wish this guy’s support was as good as his Flash skills…

dantehicks..thank you so much!! You have no idea how frustrated I was to figure this out…. Honestly, I was pretty pist and took few days off from creating my website and then I saw your message I have one more question if you could help me….

-I need to just put on my first page 3 paragraph company profile with a nice title as well as a pic…can you please help me… what do I need to put on the actionscript frame 1 and frame 2 as well as on what code on the the xml document?

I need to add 2 or 3 paragraph on the first page on the left scroller with the title of the company …..so what do I need to put on the frame 1 and frame 2 of the actonscript as well as on the XML document!!

the file looks great but the support seems….. asking someone who has already bought this file: Is it worth it, and is it easy enough that an avreage AS programmer could modify without having to ask for help on every little thing? like adding new text or swapping out files and whatnot. Thanks!
