File shows you the Time and Current Weather of your city!

For customizing the weather with your city, just replace the name with your city in an external city.txt!

great work!

I do have a question:

I am attempting to load this into a movieclip and I’m running into problems. When the DigitalWeatherClock.swf loads into a movieclip the city name info does not show up , then it loads in a city in china as a default.

I know the clock works on its root timeline…but is there a way load this clock into a movieclip?

It seems that it has to do with the city.txt variable being loaded into level 0. The variable won’t load when the DigitalWeatherClock.swf is being called externally into a movieclip. I don’t use loadVariablesNum much unfortunately.

Any way to make the time current and specific to the named city, viewable from everywhere as that city’s current time?

The time takes simply from Computer System time, if you mean of showing another real Time, it needs complete different actionscript, maybe somthing like world wide Timing Board.
