this is really well done, love the way the pieces lock in
thanks guys!!! the cat is awaiting approval
. i decided to go with vector graphics only to gain smoother look. i hope the dog sound is not too loud
How easy is it to use other graphics?
I take it doing the vectors in something like Adobe Illustrator?
Really brilliant work chrisdean.

Hi guys, I must admit that the cat puzzle and the frog puzzle are awaiting approval and they are better documented and structured than the dog puzzle. What I do is take a handwritten drawing, scan it and than draw it in flash – takes about 20 mins for a drawing like the dog. After that I copy and paste the pieces to the puzzle fla file in their separate movie clips in the library. Then you need to put all the pieces from the library on the scene and order them. When they are ordered test the movie. It will calculate all positions angles and distances between pieces and output actionscript code. You have to copy/paste it in a special place which I marked properly. I know it sounds confusing but this is the only way I can explain the program what the puzzle looks like when it is ordered. After that you are ready to go.
For the dog puzzle I did some photoshop wood texturing but I think I like it better when it is all vector graphics.

If this were a puzzle people might like it. For what it’s worth, I like it a lot. So therefore it must be a puzzle. It just has to be. I’m sure of it.
