THIS DOCUMENT WILL EXPLAIN THE BASIC THIGNS TO MANAGE THIS FILE FOR ADVANCED EDITING THE AS2 CODE IS VERY WELL COMMENTED

With this file you can manage your server downloads easily, you can add users and especific folders and privileges for each user.

There is a XML file that manages the user login, in the XML file you specify:

- username - password - privileges for the user - folder for that user

You have to create the specified folders for eache user on the server.

This File reads the content of the specified folder, and fills the swf with the info of the files, title and size, and thats it, the user clicks on the file and it downloads the file to the user computer.

IMPORTANT : You must have PHP enabled on your server in order for the file to work, you can only preview the file working if you have a server with php enabled.

The only thing you need to do to update the files is to add or delete from an specified folder.

you can add as many files as you want.

You can also upload and delete files from this file, it works with an XML file that sets the username, password and Privileges of the user.

you can edit this XML file, and asign new users ans change the privileges, this privileges are:

- all (delete, upload and download) - downloader (only allows downloads)

everyone can download, but only those with privileges assigned can perform other actions.

This preview file will let you know how it works, but for security reasons, and only for the preview you can’t delete or upload files, the file you will download when you buy this fle will have everything enabled

for security reasons, the preview file only allows the donwloads, the delete and upload functions can be seen but will not work.

ONLY DOWNLOAD PRIVILEGES username: downloader password: downloader

IMPORTANT : this provides no security whatsoever, so if you are thinking on a real security for your files, this is not going to provide it,it’s just a way to filter and sort the users of this downloader, if you have sensitive files or information, i do not recommend to use them with this file, this was done thinking purely in sharing files and documents with family friend and for projects development where clients and users need to constantly share assets dor the project.
