DYNAMIC FLASH PLAYER 4

I have a question—I have this as a player within a Flash intro to a website, and I don’t want the video to appear until frame 90, but I’d like it to autostart once it is queued, at frame 90.

How do I go about doing that? In the XML settings I set it to frame 90 (I think,, I’m a beginner), but that didn’t work:

    _root.loadVideo(90);
}

If I could have an answer quickly that’d be very appreciated… I wasn’t expecting this to come up and my deadline is approaching…

can i make the play button appear by default instead of on rollover to make it little more obvious for newbies that they have to click to play?

Hi bobocel,

I really like the look of your player. Is there any chance that I could use it with my outdated Flash program? Don’t tell anyone, but I’m still using Flash MX 2004 …

Can I pass the player a non .xml file, ie;

play_flash.cfm?g=22&vcid=9&id=912

... as long as the resulting file is valid xml format for your player?

When the file is done, can the player jump to another file if clicked?

This is what I need:

1. xml file can be dynamic script using any language

2. auto plays file when loaded

This would be a bonus:

3. if more than one file is listed in the xml, user has option to view next (or it just auto starts)

Please help…I have uploaded all the files but cannot get it to work…the image and player are there, but it will not load the FLV file.

Have already the flv player. I want to make it to run inside another swf. where can i change the path?..

Nellie, you still around on here? Could really use your help tonight… my deadline for this site is friday am and the only trouble I am having is this reader. ANyone know why ALL text is displaying except for the news story itself.

Hey bobocel,

I love the videoplayer!! I believe I have found a bug. When the video player uses the “round” skin, the image that is loaded after the video plays does not maintain the mask. One corner is rounded and the other three corners are “points”.

What do I need to do to fix this? I am using this player for a client’s site.

For some reason when I pt all my files on the server the video screen just says “buffering 0%”. the .flv video never loads even though it on the server. Have any ideas?
