Instead of getting this – Check out the new Super Text Transition Class ( It’s SUPER 
) You can use it to create this effect, and so much more – its easy to use, and extremely powerful!
It also includes an example of how to recreate this effect.
Also – I no longer support this file.

Dynamic text effect. Takes a string variable and fade/tweens it in.
Simply place an instance of this movie clip on your stage, and pass it a textvar variable and it will do the rest.
Notes included explaining how to change font etc.
