I just purchased this file and I’m getting most things to work just fine, however, the CSS changes are not appearing. I’m trying to decrease the font size, change the indent, etc. The new published CSS has no affect 9 out of 10 trys… yet, one try completely eliminated most of the content in the .swf!

Please contact me to help with what is wrong. Thank you. L

Hi,

I’ve bought your Dynamic Text Scroller – Gradient Fading couple days ago. So, I could not open it in flash and your FLA file with flash movie doesn’t work. When I try to open your flash document I have got this massage – Unexpected file format. I have Macromedia Flash Professional 8 on my PC.

Let me know please what do you think about this problem.

Thanks,

Hi,

I’m thinking of purchasing but after reading molcha2O00’s comment about opening Fla and previous comment regarding css, I have reservations..please could someone let me know if these problems have been resolved…demo looks great tho

thanks:)

@Website_Junkie: The file is AS3 so you need CS3 to run it, otherwise you’ll get an unexpected file format error

Hi!

I purchased your file yesterday and I am having the same problem as louisem – changes in CSS are not reflected in file, also loosing part of text. Only if I match the font directly with FLA it works, but no color and no style is applied.

Plus, I have another problem – when I open the file in a resolution different then 1024×768, it doesn’t stay on the same spot and parts are not visible at all.

Can you please help me out?

@nando973: please send me the file you are working on.

If I change the fonts in the fla to anything other than Tahoma, I loose my scroll bars and text and the font does not show even though I have embedded the font..

If I change the text in the xml it changes the spelling. It’s Services in the XML and Serice in the flash file. So be sure to remove the embed special characters and your text will be in plain English.

Embed your font then delete: font-family:Arial; is the css and your font will show.

I’m trying to figure out how to get anti-aliasing to show next.

I’m with nando, some text not showing when I publish and view in firefox.

Hi, I was out of range for few days, so I am sending stripped file today because file I am working on is too big for sending and contains plug-ins you might not have.

Jlacy – thanks for information – but I HAVE to embed special characters because I am working for French-speaking client. I hope ther is some way around…

@jlacy76: You need to change the embeded font in FLA to match the one in CSS file. If some text is not shown that means the font hasn’t embeded with those characters
