cool
AN UPDATED VERSION THAT HAS A STRIP WITH THE DYNAMIC INFORMATION CAN BE FOUND AT THIS LINK : http://flashden.net/item/dynamic-zoom-gallery-xml-version-2/9437
I FELT IT WAS A DIFFERENT VERSION . SORRY FOR THE CONFUSION . VERSION 1 DOES NOT HAVE ANY IMAGE INFORMATION
A dynamically positioning gallery, using XML , that zooms in and out of any amount of images within the gallery.
The following properties are dynamic:
Zoom in amount
Original zoom out amount – set this value very small to fit a large number of images
number of columns – have any amount of columns. the choice is yours
column width
row height
white picture border
bg color
left and right arrows scroll through your images when you are zoomed in
All the actionsript is commented. Originally download size is 28K.

your gallery is wonderful and very creative but she does not permit text description or read .swf (for example it’s not possible to click on the links inside .swf). When I zoom, I can see horizontal line of photos, but not vertical : you should add a mouse scroll or mousewheel for the zoom step. However it’s a beautiful first work… I bought with all the functions that I have noted.

I bougth this application but I can’t use it because there are only file “source” : not ”.../DEPLOY/...”, not ”/data/zoom_gallery.xml”. If there are in zip, WinzipPro can’t extracted. Please, can you send me or uploaded a good zip ? Thank you… jmarc2006@orange.fr

The airtightinteractive.com postcard viewer has been around for over 5 years. This one is very similar.

Wow. I’ve never seen the airtightinteractive.com postcard viewer. It is quite similar. I had this code from a recent job I did, and thought it would be a fun piece to share. It looks like the airtightinteractive.com postcard viewer doesn’t use bitmap data (which allows the images to stay smooth while zooming) plus a few smaller differences.

Thank you for your mail. MeaCulpa. Ok with Quickzip and windowsVista (not windows XP) I can all extracted, but the zip folder is delete ; Please, in Version 2, I like that the gallery can read .swf and can to click inside (links url), not only photos. Think also “categories”...etc… I bougth your next applications.Thank you very much. Very cordially. great sells for you. Victor

yes, http://www.airtightinteractive.com/projects/postcardviewer/example/ is free, but you haven’t the Source Files… !!!! Impossible to customize. With Animike, we have .fla8 .It’s important for me.

anybody know how to reload the source files for this project? i want to update some things, but i don’t see where to do it.

@animike
for now the only way to update a file is to re-upload with a note to reviewers and a link to your file which you want to update.

Just to clarify – the airtightinteractive.com postcard viewer source has always been available for purchase. I bought it from Felix back in 2001 or something. I think it was 20 bucks.
