Elastic XML Menu Vertical

Hey Guys!

Well this time I created a relative simple but really smooth workin elastic button menu, quite similar like the horizontal elastic button menu

It generated from a XML file so you can change it by just changing the xml.
If you want to change the graphics, elastic movement, motion effect, Just open the fla and you will see that I commentend almost every line so you can really learn from it and adjust it exactly to your preferences.
Right now the onRelease function on the elastic buttons triggers an event inside flash which makes the elastic content appear, but if you want to load an external page, just remove some comment marks ( /* ) and it will automatcly go to the url you inserted in the xml file.

Hello,

I love this effect, very much!

I have managed to resize, recolor, and reasign different font instances.

The resulting SWF file works wonderfully, but…

I cannot Â«for the life of meÂ», figure out how to load my images via the XML file. I’ve done my research, but to no avail.

When the XML file is opened for edit, one can see where to place code for your image:

I just know, I have overlooked something! If anyone has found a solution, please post. I want to thank everyone for their support.

I have a question.

Is there a way to use the pop up pages as separate slides for a flash site? Right now they just have a command to change the text, but is there a way to make. let’s say, 5 different slides that can have different content (.swf) on each one?

Can you help me?

Either from XML or actionscript is fine by me, I’m just not great on writing the code for this.

Hello! Congratulations, Great File! IÂ´m trying to use this on AS3 … any sugestions on how to “convert” this file to use it in Flash9 AS3 ?

Great menu how-ever I’m having problems sizing…when I make the flash menu smaller the buttons get smaller also…this is the way I’m doing it…must be doing something wrong.
