Is it easy to add to an existing game?

Having some problems linking up an existing game with the score document… The DATAbase stuff was real easy, but I have no idea what to do with the flash part…

Thanks Ziyad for your great help. I can’t tell you how happy I am with this file, I have been trying to work out how to save the scores on my game projects for a while, so this is well worth the money. The file set up notes are very easy to follow.

Anyone out there with a flash game and no high score system…. buy this file! What’s to point of playing a game if you can’t show everyone how good/bad you are at playing it.

I have just purchased this service last night for my online game which is live at www.aussiekartracer.com.au.

I have just got the code working in my game and can submit scores.

Just a couple questions though, is there any way I can stop the scores from being rounded off? As lap times will be close, I will need decimal places to stay in tack.

Also, because I have a few different tracks, with more to be added in the future, how do I get each track to save its own times separate to other tracks?

This High Score system rocks!!!! It was all in and working in about 30mins.

Documentation and examples are great!

I have a few questions though:

1 – I would like to extend to length of the player name from 15 to 30 characters – Is that easy?

2 – I am also going to add info about what level the player reached. Any pitfalls I should watch out for? Will I have to clear to database etc?

My mission was a success!! The SQL file worked great when I worked out what I had to do with it! (the best way to learn!) . . .

The learning continued and with a bit of help from Google, AND the excellent comments left throughout the script. I’m no expert in PHP / MySql but the whole thing is so logical through it’s simplicity. The custom score of ‘Level’ is now working. I also went a step further and got it saving ‘custom’ levels to be stored and displayed when people had reached certain goals. Hard to explain but you will see when I forward a link to you when it’s done. Are you looking for any ref sites if the game / scoreboard is good enough?

This Score system has saved my ass big style and was worth every penny!

I want to have a game with a high scores table, but I’m scared if I load it from other site, the scores won’t work…

I’ve figured out how to create different scores for different tracks, but people are still telling me that when they submit their score that it says they’re cheating. Is there a way to disable the code to check to see if it’s cheating and just leave it to say score submitted?

I don’t see anyone trying to cheat with this game at all really, if there is anything i can easily enable it again.
