I am very interested in this file, as a freelance web designer i see a lot of use for it. i have a few questions:

1. which files are included? the php and xml ? is there a guide as well ? 2. is it simple to apply into flash ? just to add some code to the text file in flash which connects it to the php or the xml ?

and my last question is a bit tricky, i live in israel and i tried to type in Hebrew but it didn’t work. is it just the code ? for example i know that in order to view Hebrew characters we use charset=ISO-8859-8 or windows-1255 ?

i just need to know this before i wil purchase this file…it is amazing..great work…

Just an update, I’ve purchased and tested this file and it works like a charm… Flash is known to not support right to left languages (Hebrew) but because the text is rendered and HTML , Hebrew works as well…

very happy with this buy…

my main challenge was to make it support Hebrew, i have managed to write in Hebrew now i need to make it Right to Left (or bi directional).

my main question is:

for some reason when i work with scenes or frame labels the text stays always on ?! for example once i load one scene the text stays visible through the entire movie?!

can someone assist me with multi scene/frames flash ?

Would it still work if I take off embed font in first frame and have only as action script in the linkage of the font? Then have in the publish settings in the flash tab and have the action script settings have the classes (which I assume the font is) load in another frame instead of 1 say 3?

or is there another way to get the embedded font to work with a preloader?

Are fonts in the FLA library included in the swf? Answer: If the ‘Export for ActionScript’ and ‘Export in First Frame’ options are checked in the font’s linkage panel.

Actually, the ‘Export in First Frame’ does not necessarily need to be set. See below. But the Export for ActionScript option does. If you don’t set this option, the library font is useless.

OK it isn’t stated anywhere, but it should be noted that safari doesn’t support this file, but if you are a Mac user, Firefox does support it

The problem I am having now, is the file is not saving my changes

Any hints ??

Hi Mike,

I still have people who don’t get a fresh XML file when they save changes. They get the Cached version. I tried adding the random code as suggested a while back.

Anything else that can be done?

@everybody I haven’t had the time to look into an AS3 version or a version with images yet. I might get to this down the road, but no set plans yet.

@webberdesignsinc This is very strange, as the random number should force a new load each time. Send me over some links and I’ll go check it out.

But i have a problem to adapt this website structure i use .

The problem :

I use to make site full Flash with this structure :

-I have a main general with my navigation and backgrounds.

-I have one swf for each pages, i call the page with this code :

I wanna put LiveText in all my pages but i can’t.

I try to modify the liveTEXT.as and remplace _root by _parent but doesn’t work.

I try other desesperate “tentative” but nothing works online. I’m really tricky in AS 2 .0.

It is possible to configure liveTEXT and connect it at multiple swf inside a main in Flash or it is possible to install multiple LiveTEXT, one for each page ?
