Here’s FlashCinema v1. It’s an flv video player with a user-friendly interface. It just contains standard functionality.
- Plays a video defined in the xml file.
- Is very easy to resize (also xml)
- The image shown when not playing is an external image file defined in the xml file.

You’re right Ljuk there’s something wrong with the video i put in for preview. First of all it’s a bit short so it is almost finished when the button fades out and secondly the file is not healthy, because it’s start is not at zero but a few seconds later. I’ll use another video in version 2

This is a nice player. I would buy if it had fullscreen, scrubbar…etc. Consider adding it?

Ricalien, you can load any size of video in it, just change the numbers in the xml file.
(whispering to musclehunks) i’ve already made v2, v3, v4 and v5. from v2 it has scrubbar, from v3 it has fullscreen, and v5 really has all you ever wished for
Oh and musclehunks, v2 is now in the approvals queue so it could be up and away any time soon. If you want me to keep you notified about new files i could put you on my list, just let me know your email address.

I can get this to work on a local pc but I can’t get it to work on a web server. I’ve downloaded a number of various components and this is the only one I am unable to actually play correctly. I’ve tried setting the path in the xml file to a full url as well as a relative path and neither work. If anybody has this working on a website let me know please.

Got it working on the web server now! The issue was not related to this component…it was related to an old version of the web page had been cached. This one is working quite fine for me now.
