interesting script you have here. here are a few questions i have regarding the customization:

is it easy to modify the size of the image thumbnail and therefore the result bar?

can we use the image as the trigger to add a vote rather than the radio button?

how many images can we put on the page?

how many votes can it handle and simultaneous vote, i mean if you have 2 person on the site and voting at once, is it gonna be able to work?

to gelas69: blocking by IP is not solid proof either since a vast majority of people have dynamic IP address when browsing the net. If the person is smart enough to know that by deleting the cookie he will able to vote again, he’s certainly gonna figure out that by renewing his IP he will also be able to vote again. If your poll targets the average users they won’t know about this. I do some sys admin work and most regular users don’t even know how to clear their private data on windows.

I have a flash application with various features and I want to implement a voting/poll system for each feature. It’s just going to be a simple “Like or Dislike” setup. Can this handle multiple polls as in effect each feature will have its own poll?

Can I customize the look as much as I want? Thinking of just having thumb-up/thumb-down graphic for the two options.

having trouble with setting up the database. followed the instructions but don’t think i’m putting in the right info for the connect.php. I put my url in the top line my ftp username and password for the second and third and not sure about the fourth line. it says which db. what do i put there. need a little more help.

if the people delete the cokies they can vote jus by ip address by day, by month o just one time

I’ve bought your script.I’ve seen you’ve uploaded another one very similar to the other that works with IP address.I have a question.On this script it’s possible to vote again deleting the cookies and it doesn’t act on the IP address;on the 10$ one,if I delete cookies,I can’t vote the same,while I can do it just changing the IP address.Is it possible to put the script together???So that users can’t vote again even if they delete the cookies or change the IP address. I asked you this because I’m going to buy also the 10$ one and I wanted to know if you could help me.Thanks,I look forward to hear from you.
