Re: IE trouble.

Check DOCTYPE . Mistakenly had on HTML 4 .01 TRANSITIONAL and caused IE6 to not show file. XHTML 1.0 TRANSITIONAL or Strict.

IE6 can #$%@”>#$%@ as far as I’m concerned …but..unfortunately..you guys know the rest.

Hi,

can this output a code when people reach these cue points? so if someone watches the video, you would know how far through it they got? It doesn’t ahve to be specific for each person, but to know 100% of viewers watched 10 seconds, 70% watched 20 seconds and 30% watched the full 30 seconds? if so, i’ll buy. thanks

You could call a js file once every X seconds if the file is playing. The way you need it is not implemented.

Great player. Works like a charm for me. Love being able to use one player and specify different sizes and files.

Only one problem. I had to set WMODE to TRANSPARENT (so that dropdown menus are not hidden by the flash). When I do that, the play/pause/volume slider, etc buttons don’t always display. Sometimes you have to mouseover before they are shown.

Thanks. That’s a swfObject issue. If you figure out a way to embed the player and pass the variables, the player should work the same.

I like this player but I wonder if it could be arranged to works within a CD development. I need a small player (like this) and when I press the FULLSCREEN it does that.

Let me know if this version (or any other) could do the job.

I mean off-line project. I need to integrate a flv viewer on a flash projector and use a resizable video player like yours.

The question is valid due if I’m using fullscreen already then I’m not sure if your flv player could resize just itself independent of the computer screen resolution.

@chhityz: nope, no RTMP support.

@k-lab: the player comes as it is. To load it in another fla and keep the fullscreen feature too, the player needs to be customized.

What method do you use to embed the player? It’s the first time I hear about this problem, but I believe you use SwfObject 1.x which is causing the problem.

I use the files that came with the dowload. If you refresh your sample with pc ie 7 http://www.flashden.net/files/8584/index.html. the image will load once and when you refresh it will not load.

With each new version of IE there seems to be problems with js and html. I used SwfObject 1.5 I believe to embed the swf. You can google for the newest version of the SwfObject, which at the moment is 2 I believe, and replace the way I embedded the swf file. There’s no issue with the swf.
