At all buyers: the settings are done through the file “index.html”. This wonderful application can’t therefore be incorporated in another file flash e.g… And then it is only the flv, not the vidÃ©os. This fact that I find when even a little dear because I found that was both ! But it’s in flash8, and that is VERY IMPORTANT for even the majority of buyers…I put 5 stars for this author we give yet the flash 8 AS2 … because I like what he did. I know that he is talented. (PS : you will not of problem of extraction with Vista but can have with Winzip pro… for movie1.flv including which is not compressed correctly in my opinion). Otherwise it works well and that is very cool !

Hi Victor..
You can use the player in your flash files…
To do that you must create a clip where you will copy all the layers from my file… and set the parameters of the player in the “variables” layer…

The player is built to read settings from the html file.. if doesn’t find those.. then he will use the default ones from the file…

So… you can even set the player while is placed in another flash file by those settings…

I’m also trying to put this gallery in my main .fla file I created movie clip and copied everything and layers from your file. but I’m having trouble resizing the player and it doesn’t seem to read xml.. Does your player read xml only when using with html?

Hi, I wanted the player controls to stay at all times, so I’ve commented the line ”//console._visible = false;” as suggested, however somehow the controls stay ‘open’ even after rollOut… (Volume/FS/Play, etc…

Pls let me know how to fix this

ok… that console you tweaked the first time has no link with the button toolbar… that console is a text area for debugging… leave it as before…

to enable the toolbar all the time open the flash file, onel the “_Video Player” clip, select the layer “toolbar actions” and comment the line 197( from the function “hideToolbar” ) by adding ”//” in front

@ikamu – Have you ever seen in html pages a flash file that opens automatically in full screen?
That function works only when is triggered by the user.. not automatically

thanks for this file cool one. but i try to put it in a main.fla and the video gallery doesn’t appear (nothing on screen, no play list)??????????i have change the AS in the correct line and (according to me, the paths are ok) so right now it looks like a “simple” flv player ??? i need your help on question is it possible to create a auto play and auto run for the video included in the player ????
