FLV PLAYER WITH REFLECTION EFFECT AND FULLSCREEN

This relatively simple yet different FLV video player will display videos with a fantastic reflection effect. It will also allow the viewer to launch this video into fullscreen mode and view the effect on a larger scale.

About the Videos

The sample videoclip is called videoclip1.flv. You can simply replace this FLV clip with your own video and rename your video ‘videoclip1.flv’. This eliminates the need to edit the FLA source files.

The default video clip size is 360×240. If you adjust the video clip size, you may also have to alter the size of the stage in the modify document menu and adjust a few variables in the reflection as layer as described in the instructions included with download.

can it also be played without the control skin

Posted 3 months ago

Sure it can be played without a skin. Just open the .FLA source, open the components inspector for the video and under controller, select none. You can can also replace the control with your own. You will have to adjust the drop-off distance in the reflection AS level so the reflection moves up.

Very nice effect. Just one thought. Shouldn’t the player controls also be part of the reflection? For it to look in perspective and realistic?

...its just the video playback component duplicated and flipped. It isnt even a custom control skin, just a default flash one. 8 bucks?

No its not duped and flipped. It uses a class effect so you are not playing the video twice. And sorry, I do not set the price.
