FLY IN WAVES

These waves could be used as a part of your intro, as an effect or just as an animated background. The video has its alpha channel so if you want to import it to flash you can still change the background color.

it is very simple… when you import the video be sure to select “encode alpha channel” in the “encoding” window under the “video” tab. that’s all! if u have any other problem don’t hesitate to contact me.

of course you can. just import the video into flash, remember to check “encode alpha channel”. After that convert it into a movie clip and open the filter tab. Add a filter, select “adjust color” and modify the hue value, play also with the other options!

Thanks wannaax, but not to be a bug, I can’t find out how to get rid of the black background with the Flash Den Logo in it. Obviously I don’t want this as part of the movie. I was under the impression that I would be able to use the movie with a transparent background. Did I assume wrong?

Thanks – Saxman

To elaborate a little further… I did read the other posts and I clicked the encode Alpha Channel radio button under the Video Tab during import, but I still have the background in the embedded movieclip. Am I forgeting something simple here or is there something else I should be doing? Thanks for the help Wannax, the video is great. I have fiddle with the colors and everything like you said and it works fine, I just need to get rid of the background. Thanks again – Saxman

Hey Wannax, I bought the lightning effects video/flash template. How can I insert my company name in the background?

Posted about 1 year ago

hi saxman01… hmm… seems strange, i mean, the video has it’s alpha channel as the background is transparent, so if you just check the “encode alpha channel” under the video tab while you’re importing the video, must work. i can’t immagine where’s the problem so if you want, you can send me your fla so that i can take a look. thanks

jtanis, as the file is a video you can insert your company name in 2 ways: - insert it in flash - import the video in a video editing software such after effects or premiere, insert your company name there and export everything.

thanks

Wannax, I don’t know what I did different, but I finally got it to import like it should with the transparency. Thanks for the help! I do have one other favor to ask however, and I understand if you don’t want to, but with the whole IE6 not being able to show SWF files that use filters and all, is there anyway I could talk you into making me one of these with a blue tint? The background color that I’m working with is ”#1b69ba”. I was thinking that something along the lines of ”#1b9fed” would look good with the glow you use in the file. I would be more that happy to pay for the file again if there is any way that you could upload this as a new product. I can go on without it, but I DON ’T WANNA ! (ha). I love the effect I just have to fight with IE6 for my client. Please respond as soon as you can so I can make plans. Either way thanks for all of the help. L8r – Saxman
